Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
The Cleared Solutions National and Homeland Security team supported essential Department of Homeland Security (DHS) headquarters programs as embedded architects and senior subject matter experts (SME) to the office of the Chief Information Officer, Intelligence & Analysis Knowledge Management and Information Sharing & Collaboration Branches, Chief Information Security Office Cyber Threat Branch, and Chief Security Office Counterintelligence Investigations Branch.
Also, we served as the DHS representative to the Director National Intelligence Chief Information Office and the Office of the Program Manager for Information Sharing Environment (PMISE).
DHS achievements:
Recognized for partnering to elicit essential stakeholder input and effectively applying results to business, data, and intelligence EA and portfolio management decision processes. Significantly contributed to improved Homeland EA and Intelligence EA segment architecture and portfolio management by thoroughly analyzing and incorporating results from the Quadrennial Homeland Security Review and Bottoms-up Review. Garnered respect and confidence of direct clients and other national and Homeland Security US Government officers and staff to the extent that they sought Cleared Solutions consultation on policy and operational issues to strengthen relationships at all levels. Actively participated in professional associations of direct impact to national and homeland security matters to further leadership, the sharing of ideas, and networking within the intelligence and national security communities.Cleared Solutions were selected as the EA Program Management Office’s lead representative for critical internal cross-matrix and interagency teams to provide respected strategic planning and policy enhancements:
Maritime Domain Awareness standards focus group: catalogued and analyzed past and current work to develop an implementation plan Cyber Counterintelligence working group: hosted and facilitated off-site meetings to produce a charter, functional requirements document and concept of operations that forged needed internal collaboration DHS Information Sharing Coordination Council and its integrated project teams: actively assisted in centralizing internal information sharing efforts and coordinated with the PMISE to work on national security issues including Suspicious Activity Reporting, Information Standards and Solutions, Alerts and Warnings, and the deployment of State and Local Fusion Centers DHS Shared Mission Communities: key advisor on the development of internal communities of interest including Intelligence and Law Enforcement, providing functional insights that facilitated implementation
