Demonstrating experience and depth of expertise to clients and teammates is an art in balance. Our current clients’ interests are best served by doing our job, not advertising our success. Our future clients’ and teammates’ interests lay in our ability to tangibly identify for them why our skill sets are proven and not just promises. We have found a way to achieve equilibrium between these two requirements. In the following case studies we will outline our skills and then follow with an example of how and in which way those skills were applied. The examples are described using fictitious clients but the work is real.
The Office of Federal Intelligence Policy (OFIP) needs forward-thinking, responsive and insightful policy advice to ensure that the managing organization of the Intelligence Community (IC) authors and monitors policy to keep them in alignment with national security objectives. OFIP is challenged by the difficulty involved in developing, coordinating and implementing comprehensive policy in a diverse and evolving IC environment. OFIP also wants to enable the IC to access untapped and underutilized information held by non-IC agencies.
