Enterprise Architecture & Standards

Cleared Solutions helps clients assess and align current and future IT investments towards the desired future state through the discipline of Enterprise Architecture (EA). In order to integrate IT investments across the enterprise, Cleared Solutions helps clients develop interoperability standards for services and information within a transparent governance process that brings mission and IT stakeholders together. Cleared Solutions professionals are working within IC agencies and at the enterprise level of the IC assisting in strategic alignment of IT programs, developing enterprise-wide data specifications, and collaborating and coordinating architecture and standards artifacts. We are contributing authors of IC Standard 500-20 (establishing IC CIO authorities governing IC enterprise standards) and IC Standard 500-21 (establishing guidance for IC data tagging and data encoding).

Information Technology Solutions

Cleared Solutions develops high-impact mission solutions using the latest agile development techniques and deploys those solutions into the most stringent of secure environments. Our software and service experts develop in a variety of programming languages, utilize multiple database technologies, and are increasingly focused on web-enabled services and information. Our developers and consultants are some of the IC’s foremost experts in Java, Oracle, and web-enabled services. We are proud of our involvement in the development of the OSCAR requirements management tool for the Open Source enterprise, which has generated an increase from 2008 to 2009 of 16% in organizational enrollment, 26% in user enrollment and a 300% jump in active requirements placed in the system. We provide operational management responsibilities for a series of databases, over 60TB in size, that support over 25 different applications optimizing billions of records.
